Lizzy Swinford is a professional musician, teacher and ABRSM Examiner based in Canterbury, Kent. She works in the Music Department at Junior King's School as Practical Music Co‑ordinator and piano and violin teacher, with work including coaching ensembles, running aural sessions and working alongside the Director of Music to run Chapel Choir and Orchestra.
Lizzy is also a freelance percussionist, performing regularly with Kent Sinfonia and other Kent-based orchestras and schools. Other areas of work include composing and arranging, and she particularly enjoys her work as an ABRSM classical and jazz examiner, which takes her across the country and abroad examining on all instruments from grades 1 to 8.
